In addition to an award-winning restaurant the hotel also has award-winning event facilities, claiming the 2008 HRS Hotel Excellence Awards in Meetings. The facilities are in their own separate sections, the 26 different rooms grouped in three themes – Aqua, Blue and Green. The largest of the rooms is the Ocean room which can seat 320 delegates. Each of the rooms is modern in design and has a significantly stylish appearance. Conveniently, there is a professional team on hand to help prepare for the details of the event and to ensure you make the most of your activity or function. Visitors can make the most of wireless internet which is available throughout the Cumberland, while there are also other business facilities and services available in addition.

Listed below are the room sizes and capacities for each of the hotel’s meeting and event facilities. There are nine rooms in the blue zone, nine in the aqua zone and seven in the green zone.
